Spotify Premium already streams in 320 Ogg Vorbis. Any difference you hear between that and lossless is just placebo effect. It seems Tidal's streams are a bit louder by default though, so that could be a reason why people perceive it to be better.
Apparently Tidal also had a lossless vs. lossy test up to attract listeners, but they were exposed to have tampered with the lossy files to make them sound more different.

This is cute and all, but no. I'm not sure what I'm supposed to be getting here; it's just like Spotify. Unless artists are going to be providing premium exclusives like albums, interviews/commentary, etc. amongst other things to differentiate frequently, I'm good with what I've assembled between Spotify and iTunes.

I hope the countdown is for something specific. That'd be cool. Unless they'll no longer offer free trials, doesn't make sense for it to be that. And with it being a rollout, they'd want to let people try it out first.
Whether it's new solo Bey, new solo Jay, Ye, R8, whatever, it's sure to be amazing. No way Jay would let this start without a bang. He needs something that will make people flock to his service first.

They are offering premium and exclusive things, including videos.
