Just came back from watching it and I really liked it. It was pretty entertaining, not deep or anything like that, but that's good cause I didn't expect it to be. It's great to see all those things that happened to Wolverine before he joined the X-Men team, to see young Cyclops & to see Gambit for the first time in the big screen. Hugh Jackman is the HOTTEST, SEXIEST guy alive! Damneeed, that naked scene in the barnyard I was dyinggg in that theatre

The acting wasn't that good, though. That Kayla girl's acting was AWFUL, and will.i.am seemed really out of place all the time he was on screen. The fat guy scene was .Some lines weren't clever at all rather pathetic. But the movie was all about the action and entertainment.

I give it a 7/10 I had a good time. Can't wait for X-Men Origins: Magneto (2012)

STAY HOME

Just got back from the theater. The story is badly presented, and they changed A LOT of the original comics. However, it really gets your attention. In other words, it's a great ACTION movie, very entertaining.

As for the actors, Will.I.Am was AWFUL. Jackman did a good job once again, Schreiber was amazing, and Reynolds (Wade aka Deadpool) and Kitsch (Gambit) were perfect for and on their characters. I didn't care for the others, especially cause they were all really, really bad.

Summarizing: go watch it, but don't expect something elaborated or loyal to the comics.

I can't wait to see it. I want to see it this weekend if I'm not too busy. I'm definately seeing this ASAP.

Yeah, I'm getting really tired of the musician to actor transition. Most of them are just awkward to watch, and it takes me out of the movie completely.

Just saw it a few hours ago. I liked it. I liked the whole story to Wolverine's past and what he went through in his life before he joined the X-Men as well. I liked how they showed a young Cyclops and Xavier's appearance near the end as well. Gambit's character was good as well. Interesting concept of Deadpool they did in this movie. I give this movie an 8/10. My favorite action scene's were the Motorcycle scene and the fight with Deadpool.

Since the first time I saw Kitsch on Friday Night Lights I knew he would be the perfect Gambit. I was like "OMG, did they listen to me? lol" when he was casted as Remy LeBeau.

That was a let down. Riggins as Gambit was perfect though

It's being projected that the movie should make around $85 mill for the weekend.

Yeah I agree. I was an entertaining film. Awesome action movie. There was a couple things toward the end I did not see coming. I flipped out when I saw Emma Frost on screen! I wish Ryan Reynolds was in it more. He's my man. :P haha. I kinda liked it better than Iron Man...Hope no one kills me for that.

I would've expect higher numbers... The piracy did hurt it, or I know at least in my country it did. A couple of friends who had watched the pirated version said they wouldn't go to the movies to watch it. And on Thursday the theatre wasn't full as I would've expected it to be

For some reason, I never expected it to do better, or even the equivalent of The Last Stand's B.O returns. Even with the familiar characters here and there, it's still a spin off. But you could have a point there.

Hugh Jackman is so sexy. Id give anything for a night with him

Just came back from watching the movie. I loved it! It's a great action movie and it was great to see how he became the Wolverine we see in X-men 1.

I loved the motorcycle action sequence and the cameo at the end. The beginning felt rushed though and the story didn't really take off until his girlfriend is killed and he fights with Victor. Deadpool was cool and I hope they do a spin-off with Ryan.

For those that don't know, there are two post-credits sequences. One is where Wolverine is in a bar in Japan, drinking. The bartender asks him if he is drinking to forget and he says he is driinking to remember. The other one is in the rubble on the island, you see Deadpools sword go back into his hand. You then see his hand reach for his head and when the hand touches the head, his eyes open and he says "sshhhh..". My theater had the first one, which was cool, but I wanted the deadpool one.

Overall, a great way to kick off the summer movie season. It's a great action movie!
