I would say the same thing about any other celebrity. No one deserves to be body shamed! Simple as that!

What a dumbass question. She'll be playing a character in AHS so she will look however she needs to look.
Literally the only people who have a problem with her weight are stupid, insecure, fat gay boys who project their insecurities onto female popstars because that's the only way they can feel good about themselves.
She has millions, she has a hot man, she has a loving family, and she has amazing friends. Meanwhile, you have insecurities that force you to live vicariously through famous strangers. YOU have a problem that needs to be fixed, not her.

She can't even have fun at her friend's ****ing wedding without her fans thinking she has to look perfect. What are you missing in your life that you need a popstar to look perfect all day, every day in order to be happy? Please go see a psychiatrist so you'll stop feeling so bad about herself.

As for the recent pics, she's not fat but she has some extra kilos and I don't think there's nothing wrong by simply saying it. As someone has pointed out she should get in shape before shooting AHS but as for right now she's going from party to party and enjoying free time so it's fine for me
PD: I don't see the need for both 'bands' to overreact like this tho

Tell em how it is!
Poor girl can't catch a break, she's been working hard and working out hard for the Grammys and the Oscars, let her have her "normal" days in between.
She was at a friends wedding having fun, she should be allowed to enjoy herself in her own time without her fans breathing down her neck constantly or counting calories at a damn wedding.

@Bang Up thank you Someone had to say it. I guarantee you the same people that complain about her weight are the same people that complain when she isn't slaying in any way, shape or form. Stop spending your time complaining about Gaga's life and start using that time for self-acceptance and working on your own issues.

She is in shape. What are you people even seeing? Gaga has always had a belly, there are pix from TMB where she has a belly. It is very difficult to get rid of said belly, especially for women. Some of you have very distorted views of bodily perfection and what constitutes as "in shape". You don't need a flat stomach and six pack to be in shape, no one thinks that.
And am I missing something? Since when did AHS become a fitness program and require every character to be sickly skinny? Gabourey Sidibe was one of the goddamn stars of one of the seasons.

I just don't understand how someone can be so worked up over someone's weight, much less someone they don't even know. Where is there time in the day?

Gtfo with your long ass essays and stop being so defensive I'm not gay and that's why I want her to look hot and amazing because she CAN. She's not even ugly how everyone claims. But I'm sick of her always trying to look ugly and etc.
I mean look at that photo. You can't even tell that she's ****ing 28. If she wants to be chubby at least dress up properly.
I'm glad that she's happy with a man who loves her, she's taking time to record an album but is it really hard for her to be in a good shape? Look at these arms in every photo

They seem to think that a popstar's weight somehow affects their career when it doesn't. They think if she's not twelve pounds then she won't go number one again! Newsflash, no one buys music or listens to music on the radio because of how the popstar looks. This is why it's clearer than day that the criticism about her weight is nothing more than a product of insecurities that these stans need to work on.

Are you twelve years old? You sound like an entitled little child. "Why can't she be fit?" "Why can't she dress better?" "Why is she wearing the clothing she wants to wear?" Lady Gaga's body belongs to Lady Gaga, not you. You are not entitled or owed anything when it comes to how she looks or what she does with her body. Just because she wrote a metaphorical song called 'Do What U Want With My Body', doesn't actually mean she gave you ownership over her body and what she does with it. She is happy, her man is happy, everyone around her is happy. You and fans like you are the only people who have an issue.
I am getting particularly defensive about this because it is ridiculous how some of you act as if Gaga is not allowed to have fun and gain a couple of pounds. I get defensive because this woman has been incredibly open about her struggles with body image and eating disorders and yet you still feel the need to shame her because you don't feel her body is up to your standards. Your standards are ****, they are skewed, and they belong to a delusionally insecure fan who, again, needs to work on themselves so they don't need to project onto others.

She's 5ft 1" the smallest amount of weight she puts on will look massive on her. And you not being gay does not give you an excuse to body shame women.

She's a public person. I am allowed to say that she looks bad when she really is just like I'm allowed to praise all her beautiful looks.
Ok, I'm bored, bye, Gaga's advocate

"Gaga, why can't you be in shape while on a break and recording an album? Don't you know how important it is to be skinny while sitting down in a studio?"

No one said you weren't allowed to voice your opinion. But guess what, we all have opinions, and mine is what I am also allowed to share. If you don't want people calling you out for being a dumbass, don't post dumbass things. Simple as that.
You came into Gaga's base thread body shaming her and you didn't think you'd get any blowback? What world do you live on?

You wanna come for me because our fave decided to gain weight? And I'll tell you why it bothers me. She was clearly very proud of herself for working out and trying to be healthy then she just comes in like a wrecking ball and effs it up herself. I don't need her to look perfect it just sucks knowing she CAN look in shape and fit and has tried to very recently actually and then this is the outcome. How about you have a seat having to defend a woman you dont even know like I just insulted your sister like chill the eff out

Actually being bigger, having more fatty tissue is better for the sound. It improves the resonance plus a large chest cavity and good control of the lungs will provide a suitable mass to help drive the diaphragm to some extent. A large body mass and a large body frame to support it help even more, so there is a huge advantage in being huge.
Not saying Gaga is huge but that's what the studies say at least. So there ya go maybe you feel better about this weight thing now.

All of you who criticise celebrities and their weight and their looks are what's wrong with this generation.
It's absolutely disgusting. Worry about yourself and not others. It's none of your business!

Could I see this study?
Because that's not what I learnt in respiratory physiology, at all.

But you can come for her weight just fine though.
This whole thread needs to chill tbh.
