I don't see why. there's plenty of other options to stream free music. The state of the industry is what it is, what people need to realize is that the music industry doesn't have to be as profitable as it once was. It's not even disappointing to see such a decline in music sales. If anything the wealth disparities from musician to musician has always been kind of unfair, so seeing big names now struggle to scan gold in the US after achieving mass success in the past, it's just the reality of it. There's thousands of artist out there who struggle, there's no reason as to why the industry should be a hell of a lot more profitable than it is these days. They aren't surgeons.
I really wish these greedy, money-starved record labels will STOP trying to block out videos because it has a faded, low quality sample of some music. The more these thirsty ass people try to limit ****, the more they're working to their own detriment. Spotify better NOT try it.
Some of your favorite songs cost a lot to make. Just because you feel entitled to listen to it for free doesnt mean it should be that way. I mean, you dont see an ad-based free service to watch movies legally, so i fail to see why it should be any different for music
Poor Spotify is literally the one targeted for its free streaming. Why don't they make it so you have to pay a monthly fee to listen to music on YouTube or Soundcloud?

You guys are beyond cheap tbh, premium or unlimited is soooo cheap if you listen to a ton of music.
The second they started adding restrictions to Free back in 2011 I started paying.
Having said that, I agree with everyone mentioning Soundcloud and YouTube. Spotify is well worth the money but if the others have free music available Spotify should be able to as well. They need to stop going in on ha!
