how did Madonna manage to sell 10m+ without a huge hit ?
"Holiday", "Lucky Star" and "Borderline" were pretty big hits, but I think the main reason it eventually sold so much is the post-'Like a Virgin' re-release as 'The First Album'.
Okay but I don't think this will end up going gold here what a shame
Hopefully she does some promo when she actually announces her australian dates and the tickets go on sale and the album goes up a bit
Madonna's second song in the US, "Ghosttown" is actually taking off at AC and Hot AC. She hasn't had a really successful second single here since "Don't Tell Me", so Rebel Heart may stabilize and rebound a bit. She could have just led off with the wrong hit.

She is 56 though. The oldest female I see on pop radio is SIA who is 39 years old.

Die Another Day? Hung Up? 4 Minutes? where the heck do you live??
In its third week on the chart, Madonna‘s Rebel Heart is already out of the top 10 as it sold 3,937 copies last week (-53%) for a total of 29,267 so far.
