And the uptempo-ballad-uptempo-ballad structure of Red sounds like she was trying to satisfy everyone. I sooo prefer 1989 for being cohesive and uptempo. She added some tragic ballads at the end so losers can be happy and non-delustional people can delete them easily from their phones.

Well the highs on Dead include: Treacherous, ATW, Holy Ground, State of Grace, Sad Beautiful Tragic (10/10)

Against the lows EHC and TLT(3/10)

So the good outweigh the bad.

I don't skip a song on 1989 until I get to This Love and You Are In Love, which are the only boring songs on the album, and the rest is perfection.

I lose my respect on you. This morning I listened to the whole album and found no weakness at all. All track are A++ grade with exceptionally IWYW which I gave A-

Red would be much better had she announced it as a pop album. She was trying too hard with the country sound. The highest highs of Red are pop songs. Taylor is a pop artist, she feels pop music and our taste is almost identical as far as picking potential singles and dancing to the songs at the award shows are concerned.

Bad Blood is coming to slay everybody but most fans hate the song. Now, we know who's actually the song refer to. Not Katy but her hypocrite fans.

If she releases another Christmas album and takes part in Mockingjay Part 2 and Paper Town soundtrack this year

If she doesn't appear in the Paper Towns soundtrack

And Wonderland as theme song for Frozen 2.0

I kinda disagree. Z100 New York ( the biggest pop radio station in NYC) wouldn't have played most of the songs on "Red" only the 3 that Max produced. Idt "Holy Ground" would've made their playlist. That's what critics cited about "Red" its in cohesiveness. Was she going for Pop, Country Pop, or Country ? I love "Red"for the individual songs. But "1989" is a sonically cohesive Pop Album.

After 5 months 1989 still hasn't become old to me. I take an 1-2 week break but I always come back and appreciate songs that I thought were good but they are now Great. Like "Wonderland", "Style" is a great song but it wouldn't have been my choice for 3rd single, maybe 5th. "IWYW", "AYHTDWS or OOTW" would've been my choice. I'm still rooting for "Clean" as the last single. The Lyrics Slay me.
