Didn't Gaga constantly say while recording BTW it was without a doubt gonna be her best album ever? She said ARTPOP was also her fave when asked before it was released, but with the drama I'm sure it's not the case presently. I'd say she'd say:
Born this Way (full control, expressed herself fully, held back 0%) > The Fame Monster (wrote all with her own touch, got creative freedom, and was on top of the world) > ARTPOP (was her creative rebellion, but turned out kinda bad) > The Fame (watered down auto-tune according to her, label gimmick, etc).
For Mariah it's probably:
Butterfly > Daydream > TEOM > Emotions > Music Box = Mariah Carey > Glitter = Charmbracelet > Rainbow
Dunno where her last 3 albums E=MC2, Memoirs, and Me. I Am would fit since she hasn't talked about each of them respectively since their releases even though she loved them during the releases.
