Forbes: Nicki's tour nearing $200 ave. on secondary market.

Nicki Minaj continues to plot coordinates on her massive Pinkprint Tour. On Monday, the “Anaconda” singer announced a summer run of shows in North America, which will take her across the U.S. and Canada between July and August. Tickets are now on sale, and Barbz scrambling to get their hands on tickets will find considerably steep prices on the secondary market.
The latest tour announcement has penned 19 North American shows from July 17 to August 19. Over those stops, the average price for Nicki Minaj tickets on TiqIQ is currently $193.78. It will be the first time Minaj has toured North America extensively since the summer of 2012, when her Pink Friday Tour also ran over 19 U.S. and Canadian dates. That year, tickets averaged at $155.67 on the secondary market, marking a price jump of nearly 24.4% between tours.
With such a notable ticket price increase from tour-to-tour, it’s not surprising that the Pinkprint Tour has raised the bar for the 32-year-old Queens native. The North American leg will feature a slew of opening acts, including Meek Mill, Rae Sremmurd, Tinashe and Dej Loaf. Minaj embarked on the Pink Friday Tour with a relatively small supporting cast three summers ago, playing all 19 dates with just fellow rapper 2 Chainz. She is currently ankle-deep in a European leg of shows, which also feature additional performances from R&B heavyweight Trey Songz and Ester Dean.
Mess. When are stans gonna stop using the secondary market as some kind of achievement? I can sell a ticket for $10,000 on the secondary market, but that doesn't mean that's what people are buying the tickets at.
