"Kingsman" to become Korea's most-watched movie ever

Spy action film 'Kingsman: The Secret Service' is taking South Korea by storm as it is now the highest-grossing R-rated foreign film ever since '300' (2007) and will soon become the all-time most viewed movie at the theaters in Korea.
As awesome as spy movies can get, 'Kingsman' is blowing away everyone's expectations in Korea. On March 19, it was announced that the spy action comedy film has been in the number one spot at the Korean box office since its February 11 premiere, earning over $37 million USD in Korea alone. Starring Colin Firth, Samuel L. Jackson, and Taron Egerton, this U.S. and U.K. production has reportedly earned more in Korea than it has in the U.K. or any other country besides the United States.
Heck, after attracting over 5 million moviegoers, the film is even close to surpassing the country's most-watched movie ever, 'The Chaser' (2008), which gathered 5.07 million views during its run in the box office. (Read the full article)
