Passed all chambers of Parliament
The only thing that can stop it is a successful referendum repeal but the government tightene rules so this law falls under human rights which cannot be voted on. It's now up to Slovenia's High Court to decide if this really is a right and deny a referendum or not.
Last time they voted 5-4 to allow the 2012 referendum; they'd better not allow it this time
Government is waiting for the Court's decision before trying to set a date for weddings.
I thought those countries were actually progressive
