Today at 3 am (local time), the Villarrica Volcano has erupted. The government has declared red alert and they are evacuating the near areas in danger because of the eruption.

Fact: In Chile, there's at least 2000 volcanoes, but only 500 are considered active volcanoes and there's 60 of them, that has an eruption in the last 450 years. The two more actives volcanoes of South America, are in Chile. Villarrica Volcano and Llaima Volcano.
