I love the view because you can express yourself. Having an opinion (wrong in the eyes of masses; right in the eyes of masses) is what @abctheview is about. Because we discuss things with a panel of women from all walks of life, and at the end of the day we can all eat together and laugh!!!
Let's get one thing straight bigotry is NOT TOLERATED and should never be. Black,white,brown,yellow,red,blue. However, one day we have to stop the "bleed over" from the past hate and work towards a future of tolerance, respect, understanding, and better communication.
Things I have said this week, can be taken all kinds of ways. But I try and look at all situations from the refs point of view. Taking my personal feelings learned from my culture and history out of the equation. (For the moment) This prevents me from condemning everything that passes my way. YES there is still racism in the world and bigotry; I'm not ignorant to that. But I don't want to feed into the ignorance, and continue the #hate conversation that goes in circles (on both sides of the equation) One day we have to stand together and work together to pass this painful part in our history. It's bleeding into our future and it makes me ill.
I understand different words, references, objects, and things are tied to communities that are saturated in hate. SO all communities needs shine self love and show each other that we all won't stand for stupidity or bigotry. I want to stand for what's #Right, not just black because that's the community I'm from. ( yes I have black skin, but I'm an American)

Raven can be a really big talk show host. She SPEAKS her mind, but always have a very interesting and demanding way of saying it. Because she is a G and been in the game a long time, people sometimes listen.

She may say some outlandish things sometimes, but at the end of the day, Raven is actually a very intelligent individual. Sometimes I feel like people do too much on her, but she's tough enough to take it and articulate enough to at least try to explain herself when something goes wrong, so I'm here for ha.

Bolded the parts I agree with. I think she is very articulate and it works in her favor. She also seems like she has wisdom because she has been in the game since she was 3-4. (Think Mary Kate & Ashley Olsen). Yet, she is current because she is our age.
I am still confused how she could diss Beyonce considering she decided an entire iconic "That So Raven" to "Crazy in Love."
The only way to stop the hate is to address it, call it out and learn from it / move on? What is she playing at with her "I'm not feeding to the ignorance"?
