Let me explain why and by using mediatraffic numbers.
OOTB:
2009 + 2008 = 2.8 million
it sold 250k in the UK this decade + 450k in the US this decade
2.8 million + 0.7 milliion = 3.5 million.... this isn't including the new certifications from major markets such as Germany, France, etc... so if anything I'm kinda underestimating it.
TD:
2010 + 2011 + 2012 = 5.8 million
sold 100k in the UK since then + 300k in the US
5.8 million + 0.4 million = 6.2 million
This isn't including new certifications from Germany, Australia, France, Canada, etc since early 2013, 6.5 million is the estimation everyone goes by.
PRISM:
It's known that it sold 2 million outside the US, I don't really have the numbers or memorize them but it sold 1.6 million in the US alone.
