Courses like these aren't overly rare - my college does tons of pop-culture-related courses every year for incoming freshman. They'll probably have a Beyonce one soon and have done lecture programs about Lady Gaga.

Girl do you even GO to college obviously not this is ONE class not an entire Major/Minor. This will probably be considered as an elective one can take, and it delves in Women's Gender Studies so ultimately people who have majors in THAT field would find this class extremely interesting and important. You're focusing on the ICON instead of the CONTENT - FEMINISM!
