I didn't j now that award show was still on...I heard nothing about it last year.

I'm not sure it aired last year. She previously performed in 2012.

Although I'm not yearning for an 'I Bet' performance (as I want her to save promo spots for high octane single), this could be solid promo and in front of the "right" audience too.

Hoping thereafter she can book shows like Billboard in May (if indeed album drops then)

It got more streams than "Body Party", don't forget. However, streaming is more popular now and there are way more Urban songs on the charts that there was in 2013. It's hard to get into the R&B/Hip-Hop Top 10, but it is Top 10 on the R&B Charts.

I'm happy to see the song climb this high, but it's of course a shame to see it so close to the top 40! However, this is great for her and the single! I'm sure that many will title this a flop single because of the chart position, but in my opinion I Bet has done an amazing job with introducing Jackie and that she's back with new music - now fingers crossed for longevity and I'm positive the song will reach Gold status! Ideal for her now would be to do a radio-tour, especially with the Black Girls Rock performance coming up - all to keep the song alive and gain more interest in the album. I hope we get to see her perform IB but maybe even introduce something new, her last visit at the show was amazing, however I don't remember if it had big impact chart-wise. Second single? Why rush it?

Fans shouldn't be so greedy though, simply because Body Party did so well that doesn't mean that Ciara is ready to slay the charts completely, peaking (?) at #43 is excellent for someone like Ciara, as long as the single doesn't die down soon - which I personally don't think will happen.

Next stop: top 10 urban radio, and then leeaaappp!!
