After two decades in the industry and 19 first places on the US Billboard 43 -year-old hit producer Max Martin is awarded this afternoon with the Government's Music Export award. He is not only awarded with the Government's Music Export Prize, but he is also awarded with the honorary award.
Music Export Prize goes to someone in the music industry that put the spotlight on Sweden during the past year . Honorary award honors the same kind of effort, but with a multi-year time horizon .
"Max Martin, who was not present to receive his Grammy statuette earlier this year , will personally accept the export prices of Industry Minister Mikael Damberg in the Ministry's banking hall in the afternoon."
This is his third Government's Music Export award, he also won one in 1998.
