Just like in a scene from “Empire,” the show’s star Terrence Howard, executive producer Brian Grazer, and Jennifer Lopez were mobbed by paparazzi when they arrived at West Hollywood’s Sunset Tower Hotel at the same time Tuesday night.
Witnesses said whispers of a possible J.Lo cameo on the hit Fox show immediately started swirling after the singer and “American Idol” judge was seen greeting Grazer and Howard once they were safely inside the hotel lobby and before they headed separately for dinner at The Tower Bar.
An “Empire” inside source tells us the showrunners, including Lee Daniels, “would love to have Jennifer Lopez on the second season should her busy schedule allow it.” But the singer is also working on her own NBC show with Gregory Nava titled “California” about generations of a Latino family.
hmmm. I don't want too many real lifer singers in the show. They're cheapening it [ironically] and taking away from the ~exclusivity~ I didn't like Snoop Dogg in it last night using it as a promotional platform for his real life single and album

I agree. If they're gonna do it, it should remain within the Empire universe or it doesn't make sense.
