Basically this famous Mexican couple that have been in the biz for over 20 years since they were kids were part of this Mexican show that's kinda like the Mexican American Idol(closest thing I can compare it to since they have The Voice Mexico). He was the director of the house(basically making sure the contestants learn, improve and work on their performances for the live shows) and she was the host of the live shows. So rumors started going on that he was flirting with this contestant and he went against the producers of the show and confronted the girl on live TV and asked her to clarify if they had something going the took off his ear piece and kept venting about how much he loves his family. Once he stopped talking the wife started venting and telling the girl to be careful because the people who vote and watch the show are married women like her(the host). They never let the girl talk(she had no idea anyways since they're locked up and have no contact with the outside world). Long story short they both were fired two weeks the finale of the show.

Wait La Academia still exists? My 6 year old self used to watch it with devotion.Also I remember that woman from a canned beans commercial and the guy used to be a telenovela actor right?

Apparently it still exists I was still living in Mexico when it first came out like in 2003 I watched like the first three seasons. The first one was LIFE yeah they're both actors.
