Urgh. She needs to spend her time on this next release as Point of No Return was just...bad.
I never fully understood why artists now are aspiring to be independent...I know labels are such pain in the ass but isn't a record deal what they've been working for all their lives? Indie is good for the artist, but I'm afraid the quality is just a bit worse than an album made by a record label...
It's shocking how fast the industry changes. In 2012 / 2013, she had 2 urban hits and they both received good airplay, but just a year later radio refused to play any of the singles she tried to launch and now she's going indie
Her debut + sophomore were some of the best RnB records of the past decade and the follow ups were kinda meh but she totally won me back with Enough Of No Love and its album! Then the Point of No Return happened and I know this girl is forever DONE. You can't make such s*** music and bounce back.

It was Interscope, once they decide you're done, you're done...
Of course she would go indie, she didn't leave an appropriate tip at a restaurant, which means that she is poor and doesn't have money for a non-indie music
I feel like she needs another year of creating good music before she releases, this is her time to prove that she is still capable of making great R&B music and isn't washed up. With the way her life has been she has the story to create a My Life type of album.
