Now there's a petition online calling for his slot to be cancelled and 'replaced with a rock band'.
It currently has nearly 20,000 signatures

This happens every time a non-rock, or black person headlines Glastonbury. It happened with Jay Z too and Beyoncé. Theres a small portion of people who go, or pretend to go, to Glastonbury that think all real music involves white men with guitars.

Glastonbury isn't even a rock festival, its a festival of performance art - it has every genre and subgenre you can think of. Theres also a million stages. If you don't like one thing just go and see something else.

Jay Z received a similar if not worse reaction when he was announced, Noel Gallagher even said "I'm not having hip-hop at Glastonbury. It's wrong". I'm guessing that was because of his ego and behaviour
