This is the lead single to her covers album consisting of songs entirely from male artists called Male. This is a cover version of Daft Punk's "Instant Crush" (from Random Access Memories)which featured vocals from Julian Casablancas, lead singer of the Strokes.
I prefer this more organic version than the electronic original, although both are good on their own. I'd rather an album full of new songs, but I really liked how she gave the song her own style and it wasn't just a simple cover. I hope the rest are as good as this one, and hopefully we'll get new songs in a few years.
