Well, yeah. That's usually how you make an era cohesive.

Every performance for the Confessions era seemed to involve a Farrah Fawcett blowout and a purple 70s leotard. And now when people see that they instantly think "Confessions era." The same way MDNA was Cheerleader themed. Or Ray of Light was hippie themed. Or American Life was military themed.

This is her theme for the Rebel Heart era.
