This is true. Lupita barely even had dialogue in her role. I've been saying from the beginning the most riveting character was completely shut out of 12 YAS promotions (Monique teas). The first black woman who was crying when she had her kids taken away (the saddest part of the movie). I don't even know her name.
She was Best Supporting in AOC because she damn near was the lead really.
