It's not senseless at all. Especially since she seems take a lot of breaks from even doing her own parts/letting the playback go. Or get her backup singers to do it like that guy who sang the parts of Pills N Potions at BET before she came out.

Trust there's a lot of avenues she could take to include the song without Ariana being present, not that I even think it's an essential for the set list anyway. I will need Shanghai included for America tho.
