I feel kinda bad for her, this era has been doomed from the start. The gradual leaks which eventually led to the entire album leaking months before release, the lead single flopping, the fall at The Brits, her missing the #1 spot in the UK and it looks like she may miss the #1 spot in the US too.
Can you all please stop comparing this to Ray of Light just because it debuted at #2. Rebel Heart is solid, but it's no Ray of Light. It's not as good, won't have the longevity of Ray of Light nor will it be deemed a classic like Ray of Light. It is a different sales climate now. Debuting at #2 in 1998 could still get you a 4x platinum album. Debuting today at #2 with moderate sales will barely get artists a Gold album. Let this album stand on its own instead of comparing to her past work.
