If Kendrick and J Cole are B list I'm curious to where y'all place Big Sean? C List?

Rap wise not popularity/stardom.

When Drake was a newcomer he was VERY respected, but that respect hasn't aged well like his career. I don't see Cole or Kendrick EVER being disrespected at the level Drake has. He has a deep fanbase, but so does Cole and Lamar. Again, the only reason he's viewed more famous HERE is because of who he's been connected to. Talent wise I don't think he's on par with either. And I honestly feel like the hip hop community feels the same. He doesn't carry the same authenticity.

I think Drake is more of the 50 Cent/Nelly of his time - a huge rap celebrity with huge radio dominance. In the end, I predict he won't have as much longevity as J. Cole/Kendrick Lamar, who should be both proud of what they've accomplished thus far and will accomplish in the future.

I'm a dude, check my bio before stating that feminine **** my way. And like I said Drake is an overrated catty bitch who will peak soon. J Cole has grown with every album and so has Kendrick. They don't need all the gimmicks or the Lil Wayne dick riding to grow. They are doing so organically and will see longer longevity than a mainstream prick like Drake.

Nelly is the other one I couldn't remember. But yeah just like Nelly, 50 Cent, and Ja Rule, Drake will soon fade into treachery. Oh also Lil Wayne. He's still somewhat relevant but way lower than his Carter 3 peak.

Where were they after two, three years and a couple albums? Drake is past half a decade and several acclaimed albums, growing on each one. They were never on the level he's reached, even with the big standout singles.

Get out of your feelings about him, seriously.

So back to the question at hand. Kendrick isn't at Drake stardom. He can't tour. He has no hits. He lacks multiple platinum album certs. He is not among celebrity.

Kendrick may very well outlast him, and I am a fan of his artistry. But that's another thread you'll need to open. Here, it's a hard no. Save your Crystal ball.

Kendrick is the best rapper in the game right now. His **** is on another level from Drake's.

1. Drake's album sales are not higher than 50, Nelly or Ja Rule.
2. Nelly was still on top 5 years in the business so what's your point.
3. Kendrick has plenty of hits from just one album so wtf are you even talking about.
4. What you mean by he can't tour?
5. Drake's last album hasn't outsold his last album so how's he increasing every album.
6. Each of those rappers have achieved number ones as a lead artist which is something Drake has yet to do.

J. Cole is being lumped with Kendrick Lamar because they're both two of the most popular rappers at the moment. That's why. No one cares about pretentious implications.

They may not sell as much as Drake, but both are just as respected. Kendrick is actually considered to be a better rapper than Drake, and this generations "savior". J Cole is just as good as Drake, if not better himself.

Id also mention that, discography wise, Drake has crafted a better output than J Cole, which makes this whole grouping thing pretty jaring to me. It seems that Drake gets shafted because of his image, but stating that J Cole has shown music growth but Drake hasnt, just doesnt make any sense to me. The Drake now is worlds ahead of the one from Thank Me Later.

I dont care who the better rapper skillwise, it may be j cole, I dont know. But to me Drake has crafted some cohesive albums, something neither 50 Cent or Nelly were able to do.

Drake was better on Thank Me Later. His last two LP's are his two worst. Take Care was his peak.

He isn't as mainstream as Drake but that doesn't mean he isn't A-list, he's 1 of the top dudes in hip hop and has been since he dropped GKMC
