What kind of surgery did she get?
Her voice sounds fine in the interview to me. The performance was slightly pitchy, but maybe she's still adjusting to her voice.

She had a cyst removed from her vocal chords.

Her tone is a lot clearer and she doesn't sound like she's about to crack her voice when she ascends but her intonation has definitely changed. I think she'll get it back within a month or two.
