I'm Greek and i have to say, that YES, we got what we deserved. There's a person from Greece here on ATRL that's been saying it's all the politicians fault?! No. People put them in power through election, people just kept having this mentality of cheating their way through any field (political, social, professional and thus economical) while sustaining a conservative image with a fusion of theocracy while in that image they repressed any minority, any fair and brave person with any ways possible. Unknowingly and ignorantly creating a chain-reaction that've put this country into it's knees. But, the thing is, some of us learned from our ways or from other people (or by some logical thinking) and there's more of us keep popping out each day. A big part of Greece has just started hoping that things will get better with that recent government and it's proposed laws, and truth be told, the machine is starting to work, it just needs more batteries, motivation, cooperation. Don't let it die out, even if the minister of economy is a big brat of a diplomat, because the second you do that, mostly EU, Putin would pop out like the bad "white devil" he is, and dependent as we are, would let Putin make this government a dictatorship in a matter of time, a dictatorship we don't want to live again. Things have just started to evolve, proposed laws for LGBT rights, equal pay for women, aganst police brutality, against poverty and repression, dismissing the idea of immigrants and freeing them from/shutting down that that hell of a concentration camp of our previous and disgusting government (with cooperation with police) that tortured, abused and beaten those innocent people. So please stop with that racism that's left in you against Greece, you are better than that, we're in a crucial place, all we need is some motivation.
