Alec Baldwin is desperate to land a very special guest for his hit comedy 30 Rock - he's hoping to entice U.S. First Lady Michelle Obama to make an appearance on the show.
The actor wants the wife of President Barack Obama to follow in the footsteps of celebrities such as Oprah Winfrey, Jennifer Aniston and Jerry Seinfeld by featuring on the sitcom.
He tells Hollyscoop.com, "I would like Michelle Obama on 30 Rock. The President is on TV every day, all day. So we want to get something different."
And Baldwin has already come up with the perfect storyline for Obama - he sees her as a potential love interest for his character, Jack Donaghy.
He adds, "I think my character falls in love with Michelle Obama, of course. You know, if it doesn’t work out with Barack…”
She so won't do it. It'd be hilarious (and a total ratings draw) though.
Oh.. I don't think it's that impossible.
I mean, McCain and Palin were on SNL making fools out of themselves, Barack and Michelle were on Ellen dancing...
Jack is a Republican too, that oughta be good. Michelle seems a bit intimidating in real life, but it'd be nice to see if she's got some comedic instincts.
