Hilary Duff pulled from experience with "All About You"
Quote:
On last summer's sexy single "All About You": "I wrote that song for a reason! I've enjoyed myself. I think everyone should have something where you know it's not exactly what you're looking for but you just have a wicked good time. That was really freeing for me and a bit of an awakening. It's fun to have a secret."
I didn't know she wrote on the track? It's also nice to see that she hasn't let the lack of commercial success from her comeback singles steer her away from talking about her music completely

Yuhp, she cowrote it with Savan Kotecha and Kristian Lundin
I liked the pop acoustic sound but hey, if the fans don't like it you need to change. I wonder what the direction will be. I can see her album being like 1989 (very poppy - even though I don't like)
Hmm, it's a little bit suspicious that she released it as a "comeback single" and then, after it wasn't that much of a success, she (or label, most likely) decided to go back to studio with, what it seems to be, a more poppy direction. It would seem that they didn't like it didn't "smash" and looked for a more "safe" approach.
I don't know, perhaps she just wanted to have a "wicked good time", but it smells like change of strategy and style of music, due to lack of success. It's happened a lot of times before, it wouldn't be strange. I don't really like when artists make those changes of direction in album-making processes, but I just hope she didn't feel forced to do something she didn't really want to do.
I hope upcoming music is good enough, but I'm not too optimistic...
I actually loved this song. The banjo influence in the song was different but she made it work. I hope she sticks to being unique because it's refreshing.
Chasing The Sun wasn't good. It WOULD have been good in like 2005, but not 2014
