OT: Britney's peak was larger in the US, Gaga's was bigger WW. Overall, Gaga had more success breaking down departments as per my first post in this thread.

You're comparing raw album sales/tea/sea which are still 2-3x less in Gaga's time than pure album sales in Britney's time, giving Britney a 2-3x advantage. Then you complain about comparing raw unadjusted tour grosses because it's unfair
Very inflated. The Fame for example sold much more than BOMT in almost every single country outside the US (despite a 3x weaker market), yet you 'estimate' BOMT has somehow sold more outside the US Untrue, and irony at its best

Of course she sold more than the other girls. It'd be embarassing if a 1999/2000 album didn't sell more considering sales were 3x higher than when most of the other girls released.
Sorry but she can't even make any decade-end list in the UK or even the top 80(!!!) year-end best-selling albums in Japan with her two biggest albums. And those are the two most important markets after the US

From May 2012 to May 2013 Lady Gaga earned 80M which is more than your fav or Brit ever earned in a single year. And in February 2013 she cancelled her tour which grossed 185M with 1.9M average gross which is more than any tour by Britney as well.

Albums/TEAs/SEAs are actually a metric used by official sources. Sorry they don't have a multiplier for Gaga to make it seem like she's sold 412M copies of her album. Maybe you could write them a letter?

Even a look at the Wikipedia certifications section would tell you that's untrue. Britney did 440k more in Canada, 70k more in Australia, 60k more in Argentina, 90k more in Belgium, 195k more in Mexico, 300k more in Netherlands, 40k more in Poland, 60k more in Portugal, 140k more in Spain, 40k more in Sweden, 120k more in Turkey, etc. How did she not sell more than Gaga ANYWHERE except the U.S.?

He was comparing to the other girls that debuted in the same time period. The second biggest female WW only did 14M with her album, which is 11M less than what Britney did.

The re-release charted and was certified separately in Australia and many other countries.

TF(M) was MUCH bigger in Australia than BOMT

TF(M) sold as much in just UK+Germany+France alone than BOMT did in Europe as a whole, so BOMT selling slightly more in smaller countries doesn't matter. TF(M) sold millions more in Europe overall

Japan, Gaga wins easily.

Brazil, TF sold more.

Canada, Britney only did 340k more as TF did 660k there and is undercertified.

The fact that you have the nerve to mention TF(M) being undercertified when BOMT has only had its certifications updated in the U.S. since 2000 despite being Britney's second best catalog seller (after only GH:MP).

The breakdowns are in the Britney receipts thread and are viewable for everyone. Why don't you prepare some breakdowns for Gaga and then compare them if you still can't wrap your head around the fact that the "local" Britney Spears outsold the "global" Lady Gaga outside of the U.S.
