You all ignoring that WFL and Diamonds were released while her previous eras were still going on. Like even i didn't realise she has a new era and a new lead single for a while, i don't even mention the GP. But FFS was highly anticipated, everbody was waiting for it and it should do better a lot faster than the others. But it didn't. If she released WFL or Diamonds like this, they would probably debut at #1 and stay at there for like 5 weeks at least.

How do you compare 5 weeks of highly anticipated lead in February/March, all this with video and Grammy performance and its effect to 5 weeks of October/November for Diamonds where video was NA and promo was only beginning to start, I think maybe only snl happened by the end of that time frame

And WFL was the same case. No live performances first five weeks and video wad only a week so its full effect hadn't kicked in.

FFS for sure does not have legs Rih previous singles had but we can't really judge if it's a good or bad thing unless we see 2nd single/album chart performance.

What legs are you talking about??? I dont see the song falling at any chart at the moment... And the only place that peaked is US radio airplay.

2nd single coming in less than 2 months. Let it sink in. You can't possibly think this will share chart/sales trajectory with Diamonds and WFL

Living in central europe this is the first time in years I'm not atracked by Rihanna lead in like every radio I tune it, she's not even top 10/20 in three most popular stations in here

Most recently there was a thread about how come All Day went number 1 on iTunes faster? Someone want to tell why its out of the Top 10 already?! It too received a performance at a major award show and according to ATRL its a quality track…

I honestly don't feel this song is less of a smash than any other huge smashes the song is literally everywere its doing extremely well its very successful its a big song!

Its gonna end up one of the biggest hits this year

Y'all focus too much on chart positions, the competition is tough and the lack of promo doesn't help either, the fact it made the top 5 and outpeaked the friendlier smash-ready Style is already impressive.
