Shortly after co-creator Lee Daniels said he hoped to recruit Oprah Winfrey to play a role on the show, the director revealed to "Access Hollywood" on Thursday night that she would indeed appear.
"Yes. Yeah, she's gonna be on it," he said.
Daniels also said Common, who appeared alongside Oprah in the Oscar-nominated film "Selma," would have a guest spot as well.
"Common, you heard that first," he said to the camera.
I would love both of them, but I really don't want this show to become a revolving door of pointless cameos. If the characters is important to the story, fine, but the recent cameos have been forced. Like JHud's.
