Ooh baby don't generalize scotland like that it's usually such a safe place that you sometimes feel overprotected, and it's super rare for there to be a showdown that ends like this. Hopefully the mans injury isn't that bad, it should be easy to recover as long as there isn't significant damage, but if his knees are like shattered glass then it'll be hard to pull out from under the pressure and difficulty of rehabilitation

I was anticipating a response like this, sometimes people don't pick up on subtle cues, especially in discussions about Scotland, and it drives me crazy. In Scotland, it isn't a 'what you see is what you get' environment, that beautiful country, you got it all laid out in front of you and while it may seem dangerous, it's not too bad! Everytime you'll see something new, the answer to being safe in Scotland isn't that complex, it's pretty safe in the early mornin', this man just must have been so outrageous that it angered someone so his kneecaps got that boom boom.

It's not that bad. Every place has it's bad places, but not everywhere in Scotland is terrible.
