Everyone talking about Empire but what the hell is it? Is it like a new version of Glee or what?

some show that has some guy on it that ATRL is trying to force out the closet despite the fact they can't even come out to their parents.
It's a good show apparantly from what I'm hearing

I'm not here for fads, like Glee it will last 3 seasons and then will be forgotten. Why do people fall for these traps?

Glee targets white gay teenagers.
Empire targets black people.
Most Glee musical numbers were covers and messy.
Empire musical numbers make sense, are original and are well done.
