She didn't say she wasn't passionate about it. She said she was taking it slowly and trying to make a good album. Frankly, it's a far more reasonable approach than boasting that it will be her best album or the next 'Ray of Light' and what not. She's being honest...saying that she's already started it, will take her time with it but has other priorities. Glad we're not being lied to.

I'm really glad I became a Britney fan when I did. That way I can appreciate her for the person she is, not who she was.

She obviously gives no ****s about releasing a good album, she's made that perfectly clear

Or even worse, a surprise release.

Why is every exclusive Jordan always gives us ****?
Terrible shoot, terrible article, terrible news, etc.
I'm so tired of the "busy" arguments. Like, bitch, drop Vegas then. I hear this excuse from just about every rich popstar and unless your name is Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift, Rihanna or Beyonce, you're not killing yourself promoting.
If it means we get a better album then fine, but the way she worded what she said and what Larry Rudolph, the man who's worked to sabotage her career for the past half-a-decade, said just really killed all of the hype for B9. Why would he follow up with that statement after Britney said she still wants to put out an amazing album?

You can't try to make an amazing album and then follow up that sentence by saying it's not your priority. It will be a BJ 2.0 because she still doesn't care, only now she's telling us

Right? How are you gonna spend hours every single day complaining about how rushed BJ was and then say you're disappointed she's not rushing the next one. Get a ****ing clue.
A lot of y'all need to come to terms with the fact you don't actually like Britney anymore. You may love her songs and the way she used to act but if you're constantly waiting for her to 'promote again', 'act normal' or stop being 'lazy' then you're stanning a memory.
Britney is what she is now, a cute mother who performs her hits in Vegas and does occasional interviews. Stop expecting things that we haven't had in a decade, you're living a lie.

Even with Vegas she still has a huge amount of free time to record new music

So is Beyonce and so is Madonna. Lame excuse. Britney and her team at this point do nothing but a mockery of us, how can you not see it? All they want is money - that's why she's extending Vegas and that's why she is going to release those lil quick singles - to promote Vegas because attendance on POM drops. If she really would like to stay at home with kids, she could just do a good album and give promo performances (including award shows) - she would leave her kids for literally few days to record some performances in NY and London. As far as I know she doesn't have to tour anymore and most of her fans don't have an opportunity to see her in Vegas anyway.

She just said the album wasn't a priority, that doesn't mean she doesn't care about the album, it means... she has other priorities. It still can be amazing, can't it?

And Britney is Britney, if you don't see how much she doesn't want to be in the industry, then you should seek your eye doc.
Of course all they want is money

I think it was just the way Larry worded it. We're obviously all here for it if she is taking the time to make a quality album in between spending time with her boys, i would not be complaining if that was truly the case. It just seems like they are only focused on Vegas, so all her plans are being centered around that.
Larry basically implied that since her last album flopped, they won't be focusing on an album but only some singles (which are obviously meant to promote vegas), so basically they are only interested in what will be bringing in the money. So that's the only thing that bothers me, if they are putting her music on the back burner because of Vegas.

So true. These people are still complaining about BJ almost a year and a half later. But... but.... it was so rushed! Myah Marie!!!! only used to promote Vegas!!!! Any sane fan would want a GOOD album rather than a quick lil one that's just as bad, if not worse than BJ.
Madonna, Mariah, Celine, etc. all take way longer to release albums and you don't see their fans complaining because they're not just looking for ways to meltdown. Seriously, drop her if you don't like it. Nobody is pointing a gun at you.

I guess you're right. She's a mum now, not the girl I fell in love with.

Your logic If she doesn't want to be in the industry anymore then why she won't retire if she doesn't want money?

A two-hour concert show requires five-six hours to get ready, perform and then get home. She also has travel on top of that.
I'm glad they're taking a break from Vegas for a month but I'd rather she just drop it and focus on her actual career. I get it's the most profitable aspect but I hate concerts and would rather she just did a promotional tour to support her work.
If they extend Vegas
