Cheek to Cheek is an album full of jazz staples, which means all the songs were already successful in other manifestations. It appeals to the Adult Contemporary crowd which is great for album sales. On top of the fact that Gaga is a current gurl and should have a big, active fanbase, coupled with the sales for jazz legend Tony Bennett, I think it's safe to say the odds are stacked in C2C's favour.
