Not as far as I can tell, but I'm from Britain and we'd do anything to be seen as a separate thing from the continent so everyone else could be holding hands and singing Ode to Joy in unity for all I know.

Yes, it slays. Written by King Beethoven himself. I would say "Get into it" but if you don't already know it I'm judging you.
(I'm not sure if it's weird or quite telling that I can't find a version with English singing.)
Christianity, along with its principles, values, ideals and legacy, is the only thing common among all Western countries (not just European countries).
The same applies to every continent in the world except Antarctica. Still, every continent has an identity.
The highest standards of living in the planet could be seen as Europe's identity, for example
Not sure. Since Canada and the US both have standards at or sometimes above much of Europe. Even Northern Europe. It's more of a first world thing. And they're are in Northern America.
Why? They are European. They just lack in good cuisine. But everything else about them is very European.
The UK is both geographically & culturally different from Mainland Europe, which is partly why most British people wouldn't call themselves Europeans, and I'm sure that the majority of the population would argue with your statement that "everything else about them is European", as it simply not the case. It's quite frankly a 'them and us' situation.

Really? Because historically the UK has a lot in common with Western Europe. Certain ideals from the past, and so many other things make me think they have a lot more in common with Europe, especially more than Russia.
