So I was inspired by the thread asking if Gaga is an A-list artist (which she obviously still is) and a lot of people say the Oscars performance is a sign that she's still got it. P!nk also performed an acclaimed Wizard of Oz tribute last Oscars plus The Truth About Love gave her three top ten singles and the album did well too. However sometimes P!nk doesn't feel like a major name despite all her accomplishments.....in ATRL she's never lumped with Beyoncé, Britney and Xtina despite doing better than all three.

So what does ATRL think?

Honestly I think she's an instantly recognizablename but for some reason people don't think of her immediately when talking about singers and celebrities.

She is actually quite of the opposite case to GaGa tbh. Despite ARTPOP was not as successful as The Truth About Love, it was more TALKED about . GaGa is MUCH BIGGER as a celebrity. I feel like P!nk is just a B-List when it comes to being a celeb. As a musician she is A-List..

'Glitter in the Air' @ the Grammys 2010 manifested her status. She has built herself a huge legacy. Of course she is.

She never was, and never will be an A list celebrity. That's 1 of the many reasons You+Me bombed while true A list artists made indie songs hits like Rih, and Legend X.

Key word: Artist. She's an A-list artist. She's a Z-list celebrity because she don't give a single **** about that life.

Hard work does wonders with people's careers and i am sure alecia is aware of that.

Pink has bided her time and been an Underdog her entire career, whilst the other females artists of her time competed with each other, she focused on dedicating to being the best performer she can be. She came back in 2011 with one of the best performances EVER and has won a Grammy and has had a #1 single with Nate Ruess in recent times.

Pink isn't the kind a celebrity-musician like Beyonce and Britney, she leads a low-key life, away from the Paparazzi and has a stable love life too.

But to answer your question, she is a major name and is always under-estimated and never over-hyped.

Many people didn't even know P!Nk sang on that album tbh. If P!nk actually releases a ballad with P!nk as the lead artist I think it would do fine.

I agree. That performance really proved how special she is. Pink will always be A-list because she has talent and gives quality work

If we take in consideration her talent and sales, of course she is.

But if we take in consideration other things, she's not, since she's not a celebrity and don't do much in media, she only uses her music. Which is not a bad thing. She just put her personal life away from her professional life.

She's a singer, not a celebrity. That's why some people say she's "just there". So she's an A-list singer but not A-list celebrity.

I was just trying to say that despite that it sold so much, it wasnt talked about that much. That's why she is not as big as GaGa as a celeb. People dont care for P!nk. They know her music tho.
