Why do people seem to think Madonna gets a free pass because she's been around for a long time? It doesn't work that way, not on a pop forum, and not for a woman whose fans have never and will never give anyone else a pass.

Madonna isn't immune to criticism, especially not when she releases an album that is clearly begging to be paid attention to.

If you ask me, 40 years into the game, sales is prety irrelevant to Madonna.
