No. They're still making money in other ways and anyone who hasn't adapted yet is late af. Spotify (and Netflix for movies) are reducing piracy, moving forward legal alternatives are a better solution than persecution.

and the notion of going after people for downloading albums/movies/etc. is just too outdated. Labels/artists are much better off working on alternatives to Spotify and more models of distribution than trying to fine someone for an album they downloaded.

Streaming is not a solution to piracy. It still promotes the idea that music is free and it doesn't make people want to not pirate music lol. I don't know what the problem would be with Netflix, though. Usually a movie will make most of it's money back (I may be wrong) at the box office.
