Minogue is now out of contract with her British label Parlophone (her home since 2000) but says they remain “family”.
For the first time in a long time, she’s making music without the deadline pressure of it being for an album.
She’s working with producer Fernando Garibay (Lady Gaga) — recently finishing a new song called Your Body they wrote with help from Karen Poole and Giorgio Moroder.
“I’m having some fun moments going off piste like that. Things aren’t necessarily planned, they’re not necessarily for anything but just for the sake of expression. It’s been really fun.”
On acting in America

She has an acting agent at the high-powered CAA in the US.
“I’m really, really on the lookout for another acting project,” she says. “I’m quite open to what could happen this year. Spending more time in America does help. CAA have been very good at connecting me and Americans love a meeting. It feels like the majority of them really achieve nothing but that’s how they do things there so I roll with it!”
I LOVE this woman so much. How can you not love her? I hope she smashes again with the next album and I also hope she puts her all into it to the point that she won't end up saying "maybe it didn’t do as well because it wasn’t good enough or it didn’t deserve more, who knows?" just a year after it's released
People forget she came from acting in a soap. Im surprised she never pursued it more. It may be too late now as she's in that middle age group where the great roles will be snapped up by actresses who've been around for years. She's too old for the young sexy roles. Hard to believe she's a few years off 50.

I love that she admits KMO flopping might have been due to the quality. I don't think a lot of artists would be so quick to admit that, she's so humble. I hope working with Garibay/Moroder means that Gaga is in the pipeline somehow, even if she just co-writes for the album.
yes, but I mean even If Kylie also flops like Hilary , at least she's trying something different. If she stays with Parlophone she will keep on flopping anyway.
