What she needs to do is be confident and do high profile promo slots. Even if she underperforms she must still give off the impression that she's slaying. That's what ruined ARTPOP for me. She lacked confidence and that fierceness in some of her performances. (Obviously not in the Applause era)

I wouldn't be surprised if she was asked to voice a Disney character. The Oscar performance was basically like an old school Disney song complete with full princess gown. Add on doing a Pixar song and the audition is basically complete.

In terms of other strategic moves, I really do think one or two collab singles will help encourage radio and music buying support. Plus help combat cynics. "Although Lady Gaga's last pop album was deemed a flop, she turned things around with the Grammy winning Cheek to Cheek and hit collaborations with longtime producer friend RedOne and _____". < That's about as negative a neutral commenter could be. Pretty brilliant considering it could have just been "Gaga's last album ARTPOP was a total flop because of a, b and c, and this new album has a lot to prove."

I just have this feeling that Gaga and RedOne are going to concoct some seriously out of this world tracks together  A combination of so many different musical styles and influences into one album. I can't wait

Exactly one year ago today, I went to Austin, praying I'd bump into Gaga while she was in town for SXSW. I never did unfortunately, but I ended up having a great time with some friends. Incidentally, on the way there, there's this sign that says something like "Onion Creek" or the like, and I immediately thought of Onion Girl and explained to them why such a random sign made me laugh. We went again today to mark the year anniversary of when we went for the first time together, and I got such nostalgia and sadness seeing my little Onion Girl sign, since 365 days ago, there was still a chance we'd get to hear her. 
Sorry for the random story. I just got home from the trip and a wave of memories and nostalgia hit from back when ARTPOP was still going.

Ooo also while I was there today, in a bookstore, I overheard this girl telling her friend that she wished there was some sort of art pop culture...and I was this close to sending the good sis over to iKoons to check out ARTPOP. Should have to be honest. Or at least told her about it and to recommend looking into it. Could have been one copy closer to platinum and yet another soul touched by the album of the millennium.

Gets on my nerves that people expect Gaga to pull another Poker Face or Bad Romance, y'all are aware that she'll masively flop with another EDM song right? She better go with some DWUW/SexxxDreams r&b type of song for her next lead.
We all know Gaga sucks when it comes to ballads, so lets not even go there...

I'm really excited to see what Gaga and RedOne are working on. Not just because of the certified smash they'll create, but because it's been so long since they worked together, and they make certified bops when they do.

I believe the only true EDM work Gaga did was ARTPOP, and even then, not the entire album was EDM. Poker Face and Bad Romance are more dance-pop with European dance influences (if I'm correct), which, while being in the same family as EDM, is very much different. That being said, I still need some EDM bops from her in the future, even as just album tracks.
