The reason the gay community still has trouble integrating with society is because sexism is still deep-rooted and people quiver at feminism or people stepping outside their gender roles. Shame towards women is also to blame for why the gay community is filled with so much shame against feminine men and bottoms. The gay community is just a reflection of the rest of society. That being said however, white gay males are the top of social hierarchy within the gay community. This is also a reflection of society so she's obviously wrong. BUT a lot of problems will be solved when woman get complete equality. I'm not exactly sure which minority group will receive universal equality first, but it definitely isn't the gays. It really puts things in perspective of how problematic and backwards the world is when you're not a straight white male.

I find it absurd that ATRL and their mostly privileged-first-world-users seem to forget women of all races have been exploited, enslaved, raped, multilated and killed over the centuries for being women. To this day, women are still seen as inferior, submissive, not equal to men and suffer all kinds of violence every day in every part of the world.
Rare are the examples of women who make it to the history books, women have always been marginalized and downgraded in their importance.
But, sure, let's dismiss Madonna's point.

A white person (no matter if gay or straight, a woman or man) has no idea about how it is to be of colour and face racism on everyday basis.

A straight person doesnt know how it is to be gay.

If you are a black lesbian means that you have to face three separate forms of discrimination. This person will never be sure why she was fired or mistreated, if it is because she is black, or gay, or simply because she is a woman. Or most probably, a combination of all of the above, because she has to face it all.

To be fair George clooney looks good for his age, madonna's a bit too thin its aged her far more than needs be. That aside the fact that she's even comparing struggles is ignorance enough and she just so happens to be doing it around her album release date. This isn't about womens rights, this is about Rebel Heart and attention.
