Is calling something 'cute' an insult on ATRL?
Sometimes I feel when people say something is cute, like a music video, I feel like they meant it as something negative.
Just trying to understand?

No. it's just not vivid like beautiful or amazing. Cute still has a positive meaning.
Think of it this way: would you rather a video/song be called cute or ugly?

Yes its a lowkey insult. I used it one time in my art class when this chick was soo proud of her artwork I said it was cute and everyone laughed, I think they got that I meant it was an okay piece but nothing outstanding.
