Georgia state Rep. Dar'shun Kendrick is under fire from conservatives on social media after she deleted a post from Facebook that said she wanted to slap Fox News contributor Stacey Dash.

“I’m going to slap Stacey Dash if I see her…..that wasn’t nice. Forgive me God. I’m going to pray she stops talking..ok. that’s better,” Ms. Kendrick, a black Democrat, wrote on Facebook Wednesday night.

Ms. Dash, a black conservative, took a screenshot of the comments and posted it Thursday on Twitter, Twitchy first reported.

“WOW #GA State Rep @DarshunKendrick wants to ‘slap me’ until I ‘stop talking.’ Such a role model for young black women,” Ms. Dash tweeted.

Ms. Kendrick fired back at the actress, tweeting: “You’ll notice that I recanted that statement. Reading is fundamental.”

Other Twitter users pointed out that Ms. Kendrick removed the comments in questions, but did not recant.

Ms. Kendrick posted a new thread on Facebook that said, “and I have just been brought into a Twitter war with Stacey Dash….this should be interesting. Apparently she can’t read either. Sigh.”

In the comments section, Ms. Kendrick wrote: “Yeah. Her [fans] are interesting but I love America. Everyone has a right to be ignorant. God bless them.”

“Now that I am apparently in a Twitter war with Ms. Dash,” she wrote in another comment on the same thread, “let me note that my comment was not about her being a black conservative. While I find that interesting, everyone’s entitled to their opinion. it was about something she said related to Arquette Oscar comments on wage equality she made. She really is clueless. Sigh….off to read the comments asking for my resignation.”

Ms. Dash had previously said on “Fox & Friends” that she was “appalled” by Patricia Arquette’s Oscar acceptance speech on wage equality, saying “I didn’t get the memo that I didn’t have any rights.”

The “Clueless” movie star announced on Fox News Wednesday that she’s releasing a book this summer, titled “There Goes My Social Life,” that will detail the hardships she’s faced as a conservative in Hollywood.

That is not an opinion. It's what Stacey thinks conservative Caucasian Americans want to here. Most of those people just see her as another dumb bimbo.
