If i got a gurl like MC, i would have let her take care of me without questions asked. lol. It's like that Sex & The City storyline between Carrie and Burger.. when Carrie made big bucks, Burger got jealous and treated her like crap.. it's exactly what happened between MC and NC (or Madonna & Guy, although Guy was a talented man as well).

Let's not forget that in 2013, she made ~$18M from one season of American Idol. Her catalog sales are still good sellers and she has been hitting the road a lot in the past few years. She still has a lot in her bank account.
I dont think she cares about the money situation but I do know she wouldn't want anyone to touch the money she made from her hard work in writing, singing and producing. (We know she has had issues with folks in the past with this).
Mariah is also a shrewd businesswoman. I find it difficult that she would enter a marriage without a tight pre-nup agreement and even then, her lawyers are going to ensure she reaps the benefits of her hard labour.

desperate here for making this more difficult than it needs to be. The sale of the home, which has been on the market for over a year, should be applauded as it's cutting strings. I suppose he feels he's entitled to much of the $9m? If so, he better have his paperwork in order as I feel like Carey's team is simply overwhelming him and him not knowing much about how the property sale will be divided is testament to this.
