There is the stereotype that gay people talk flamboyantly and like generally feminine things. He's not ignoring this stereotype since it is rampant, and he also isn't saying that that stereotype is right.
Are we going to pretend there aren't a lot of comments like "No fat guys, black guys, etc. please!" in the gay community?
