So:
- I'm so happy for her Grammy win and I was and still am so proud of her, Tony, Bobby, Tony's sons, the musicians, everyone involved in making Cheek to Cheek one of the most remarkable projects and duets embarked on by a pop culture icon in a long time. It really paid off.
- The Stevie tribute was also stunning, as was her performance at the actual Grammys. Showing her diversity once again.
- The Oscars. Lord. That was by far the best vocal performance of her career so far, her composure and her stage presence were also completely on point and she owned that stage. Everyone was talking about it the next day at school and honestly I've never been more proud of her after a performance.
- American Horror Story. I still don't really have words. I didn't have a phone at the time and my friend sent me the link on Skype and I thought it was some sort of joke until I watched the trailer. That tea above better be real because AHS is my favourite show (and I love all the series, I'm not someone who thinks it's 'declining') and I'd live if she was in more than just Hotel. This is by far the most excited I've ever been for something Gaga related,
ever.
- Till It Happens To You is by far one of her best songs and
is her best ballad. Already got 200 plays from me and I cannot wait to get the HQ. Diane needs to co-write at least half of LG5 and definitely needs to co-write the single. Her vocals are amazing and work here whereas they were jarring on Dope (although that whole song was jarring honestly).
tl;dr I'm in love with Gaga more than ever and there's nothing in the past month I haven't liked (apart from a few of her Paris looks but it's whatever). I've also missed you guys so much and I'm so happy to be posting again! It's been a pretty ****** month personally and not having you guys made it even worse - as silly as that sounds since we don't know each other. This really feels like a second family to me.
P.S. ARTPOP is her best album. I've seen the light. Sorry Born This Way.
