No. My dream career would be Cinematography but it's way too competitive and would take years/decades to work on actual films. I'll be just as happy and probably richer being a Psychiatrist... it'll just take a lot more schooling.

Ive been thinking of starting to write as a hobby.. but i feel like i could never make a career out of it as much as i would like to. I would love to be a music journalist but its so competitive and jobs are sparse in that field. I am such a sensitive person deep down and i feel like i would want to crawl and hide under all the pressure, i even feel that way just thinking about working in a hair salon, i feel like no one would like me or take me seriously and that i dont fit in...

i just want to be truly happy with what i do, i dont want to be 35 years old saying 'i wish i took the chance and got that degree at 22 years old'

DON'T BE!

You don't have to go around yelling "I'm a singer!" but come out of your shell and tell those close to you that it's your dream. Try and talk your parents into paying for some singing lessons and some instrument. WORK HARD even when it seems impossible. You can do it but start now because time goes by REALLY quickly. Go for it!
